Since the pandemic, there was a huge increase in home internet usage, with millions of Americans moving to remote working and learning, as well as an increased number of people streaming shows and movies, gaming online with friends, and video chatting with family.
One of the most beneficial decisions that most families can make is to switch from a typical router to a mesh system. Eero systems are among the finest mesh routers available today, as well as the newest setups from Netgear Orbi, TP-Link Deco, and Google Nest.
A mesh router is a type of wireless router that uses multiple access points to extend the Wi-Fi signal throughout your home or office, creating a strong, reliable connection.
Unlike a traditional router, which broadcasts the signal in a single direction, mesh routers use multiple small nodes, or “access points,” to create a “mesh” network. The benefit of this type of system is that it can cover a much larger area than a traditional router and is less likely to experience dead spots or dropped connections.
How to check if Netflix is down?
With over 221.64 million subscribers, Netflix is the world’s largest streaming service. However, even Netflix is not immune to outages. While rare, there are times when users may find themselves unable to access Netflix due to technical difficulties. If you find yourself in this situation, there are a few things you can do to check the status of Netflix.
One option is to visit istheservicedown.com. This website provides real-time information on the status of popular online services, including Netflix. Simply enter “Netflix” into the search bar and you will be presented with up-to-date information on the streaming service’s status.
There is a section that shows Netflix problems in the last 24 hours. The chart shown on the site displays the number of reports made by the time of the day.
The portal collects all reported problems such as buffering, signing in, crashing, playback issues, and video quality from Netflix users.
And then displays in a dashboard.
They also report the most recent outages from across the world.
Great. So now you know if your issue is due to any Netflix outages.
Another option is to visit isitdownrightnow.com. This website provides a more detailed breakdown of Netflix’s current status, as well as historical information on past outages. Simply scroll down to the “Status History” section to see if there have been any recent issues with the streaming service.
So when I pulled up the site, the first section confirms if Netflix is down or not. Along with it shows when it was last down.
Scrolling to the next section gives me a detailed view of the status information. On the day when I was checking this, all was Green. In your case, it might not be in case there was an outage.
(These reports get more accurate when more users report back to them)
Now you know if Netflix is having an outage right now.
Netflix Server status
Netflix has an official status page that tracks interruptions to the service. This page uses servers located in various locations to analyze the downtime and failure of the service. As a result, users can quickly see if there are any widespread issues that might be affecting their ability to stream Netflix. So, it is an essential resource to watch Netflix for your entertainment needs.

On the top right corner, tap on the profile icon to load the other menu options
Tap on App Settings
Scroll down to the Diagnostics section

Click on Start test.
Result of the test: It shows that the connection to Netflix Android Server is successful and my Internet Connection has also passed the test.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is the error code for Netflix not Working?
You might get Netflix Error 0041 if your internet is down, or there’s data on your playback device that has to be refreshed. Netflix advises that you clear the app’s data and restart your playback device for this problem.
How do i reset my Netflix wifi?
If you’re having trouble connecting to Netflix, it may be due to an issue with your internet connection or with the Netflix app or service. To resolve the issue, first try turning off any VPN, proxy, or unblocker apps or services that you may be using. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, reset the network settings on your device. If you’re still having trouble, restore your modem or router to your internet provider’s default settings.
