For those unfamiliar with the term, “gacha” refers to a type of game where players can use in-game currency to obtain random virtual items. These items can be anything from characters to weapons to accessories, and usually come in the form of collectible cards. Gacha games are immensely popular in Japan, and have been for many years. In fact, some Gacha games have been running for over a decade! Here are five of the longest running Gacha games of all time.

1. Final Fantasy Brave Exvius

This game is part of the Final Fantasy franchise. Do not confuse it with its spin-off War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Brave Exvius has been running since 2016 and is still going strong today.

The game is set in the world of Lapis, and follows the adventures of protagonists Rain and Lasswell as they battle against evil forces that seek to destabilize the world. With hundreds of collectible characters, beautiful graphics, and an immersive storyline, it’s no wonder Brave Exvius is one of the longest running gacha games around!

Even after all these years, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius still interests people because it is a well-made game with a rich story and beautiful graphics. Additionally, the game offers plenty of opportunities for player growth and customization, which keeps players engaged for hours on end.

2. Dragon Collection

Dragon Collection was the first Gacha game that was released on GREE (social networking service) in 2012 as the most popular Japanese game.

What’s so great about this game? You might ask.

Well, for starters there are over 500 different types of dragons to collect! Not only that but they come in all colors and sizes; you’ll be able find the perfect match with ease if your preferences run towards something small like gold or large such as fire breath–literally everything is at hand here (dragon collector). Additionally each species has it’s own unique abilities which makes breeding even more interesting than usual.

The game is popular among all age groups, but it is especially popular among teenagers and young adults.

3. Monster Strike

Monster Strike is a bit different from your typical Gacha genre, as it is primarily an action game rather than a turn-based RPG. In the game, players control a team of monsters as they battle their way through hordes of enemies.

With simple but addictive gameplay and cute monsters that are sure to please any fan of Japanese pop culture, it’s no wonder Monster Strike has been running since 2014.

4. Schoolgirl Strikers 2/Twinkle Melodies

Schoolgirl Strikers 2 (also known as Twinkle Melodies outside of Japan) is a rhythm action game featuring an all-female cast of characters. This game is part of the Schoolgirl Strikers media franchise.

Players must timing their button presses to the beat in order to defeat their opponents and progress through the game’s story mode. With catchy tunes and an adorable art style, Schoolgirl Strikers 2 is perfect for any fan of rhythm games!

5. White Cat Project

This game was released internationally under the name Colopl Rune Story. White Cat Project is yet another rhythm action game, this time with a fantasy setting. Players take control of a hero character as they travel through dungeons, defeating enemies by pressing buttons in time with the music. With over 100 stages to play through, White Cat Project is sure to keep you entertained for hours on end!

How to pay for Gacha games

Most of these games are free to play, but some of them offer premium content that can be purchased with real-world money. If you’re looking to get the most out of these games, be sure to invest in some premium currency!
