Here’s what you need to do:

1. Open your Chromebook and make sure that it is connected to the internet.

2. Put your AirPods inside the charging case with the lid open.

3. On your Chromebook, click on the status area in the lower-right corner where you see the network and battery icons. A menu will pop up; click on “Settings.”

4. In the Settings menu, click on “Connected Devices.”

5. In the Connected Devices menu, click on “Bluetooth.”

6. Click on “Add New Device.”

7. Your AirPods should appear in the Chromebook’s Bluetooth list of available devices; click on them to connect them to your Chromebook.

8. Once they are connected, you will see them listed under “Previously Connected Devices.”

You’re all set! Now you can use your AirPods with your Chromebook just like you would with any other device.

If you have any trouble connecting your devices, make sure that Bluetooth is turned on both your Chromebook and your AirPods and try again from step 6. If that doesn’t work, try restarting both devices and starting from step 1 again.

Why won’t my laptop recognize my AirPods?

Step 2: In the left sidebar, select Bluetooth & devices.

Step 3: Click on Devices

Step 4: Locate your AirPods in the list of devices and click on the “i” button next to it.

Step 5: Click on Unpair device and confirm the operation.

2. Pair both the devices

Step 1: Click the name of your device from the list.

Step 2: Tap on Connect

Your AirPods should now be paired with your laptop.

The next step is to get check your Bluetooth connection.

3. Connect Bluetooth

While Bluetooth connectivity can get frustrating at times, there are ways to get around it. The first thing you should do is check your laptop’s Bluetooth pairing and ensure that it is switched on and ready to connect.

4. Check if the AirPods are turned on

If you’re having trouble connecting your AirPods to your laptop, it could be because the AirPods are turned off. To check, open the lid of the AirPods case and look for a green LED light. If the light is off, that means your AirPods are turned off.

5. Check if the AirPods are in range

If your laptop still isn’t connecting to your AirPods, it could be because they are out of range. The AirPods have a range of about 33 feet, so if you are too far away from your laptop, the connection will not be made. Try moving closer to your laptop and see if that solves the problem.

6. Check for updates

If you’re still having trouble connecting your AirPods to your laptop, it might be a good idea to check for updates. Over time, Apple has released updates that improve the connection of AirPods to laptops and other devices.

To check for updates, open the Settings app on your iPhone and tap on General. From there, tap on About and then check for updates. If there is an update available for your AirPods, install it and see if that solves the problem.

7. Restart your devices

The next step is to restart both devices. This will usually fix any minor connection issues and get your AirPods working with your laptop again. To restart your AirPods, open the case and hold down the setup button for about 15 seconds.
